Krakow is one of the oldest cities in Poland, its historical centre has been preserved through the centuries and today Krakow counts among the most beautiful cities in Central Europe.
All along December, the Market Square hosts the Christmas market where you can find traditionnal Polish handcraft products, the "golka" cheese from the nearby Tatra mountains, lots of wooden objects, etc. You will also enjoy the beautiful Christmas decorations and discover the Polish traditions for Christmas.
And if you are lucky you may see Krakow under the snow, so romantic and mysterious ...
DAY 1
Arrival in Cracow and transfer by car to your hotel. Check-in at your hotel, a 3 star located in the historical center of Cracow.
In the evening, we take you to a jazz or classical music concert.
DAY 2
After breakfast at the hotel, you will go for a guided tour of Krakow with a local guide: you will discover how beautiful is the city and how rich are its architecture and history. You will see the Wawel castle, the cathedral, the St. Mary's church and of course the Market square and the lace of old streets around it.
Free time for lunch.
In the afternoon, we take you to the Wieliczka Salt Mine located about 15 km away from Cracow. The Wieliczka Salt mine has been operating without interruption for more than 700 years. It is renowned for its micro-climate and for its healthy properties. The Wieliczka mine is on the Unesco's World Heritage list.
During your visit, you will discover the 3 upper levels of the mine and you will go as deep as 135 m below the sea level. The mine includes a sanatorium, the famous chapel of Blessed Kinga.
Back to Krakow at the end of the afternoon.

DAY 3
You can choose between a free day in Krakow or going for a day trip to Zakopane, the most prestigious mountain resort in Poland.
Zakopane is a small town nestled at the foot of the Tatra mountains, it is a renowned resort for hiking in summer and skiing in winter. The surrounding mountains create a wonderful setting for the beautiful traditional wooden houses and churches of Zakopane. You will enjoy strolling along the streets, visiting shops, galleries or museums, as well as breathing the fresh and invigorating air of the Tatra mountains.
You will be back in Krakow in early evening.
DAY 4
Free day in Krakow.
Transfer by car to the airport during the day.
