The official currency in Cracow is the zloty (PLN). One Zloty has 100 Groszy (gr.).

Money can be changed in banks, hotels and in Bureau de Change. Bureau de Change do not take provisions for changing money. Cash is available from the numerous cash machines. Hotels and shops accept credit cards. Travellers' cheques can only be changed in good hotels and banks, however, they are not a widespread form of payment here.
